Privacy policy

This policy explains how SuperMeet, a product of Igniter App ("we"), handles personal data when you use supermeet.in, attend or teach a SuperMeet class, or use the Live Class API.
What we collect
- Demo requests: name, email, phone, organisation and the details you enter in the form.
- Class participants: display name, the user ID provided by the institute or platform, join and leave times, device type, and chat messages.
- Recordings: the audio, video, board and screen share of classes where the host turns recording on.
- Billing: organisation name, GSTIN, billing address and transaction references. We never store card or UPI credentials.
How we use it
To run classes, produce recordings, transcripts and attendance reports, bill our customers, provide support, keep the service secure, and reply to demo requests. We don't sell personal data or use class content for advertising.
Who controls class data
For classes run by an institute or platform, that organisation decides who joins and what happens to recordings, and we process the data on its behalf. Students should contact their institute first for access or deletion requests.
Retention
Recordings are kept until the institute deletes them or stops paying for storage. Attendance and usage records are kept for as long as needed for billing and tax law. Demo-request data is kept for up to 24 months.
Security
All connections are encrypted. Recordings are served through signed, expiring links, and access to production data is restricted to authorised staff.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, subject to applicable law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to care@igniterapp.com.
